Why do not you shake your head while singing the songs? would be perfect! All fans expect it in a heavy metal band. I would love to see her doing it!

I have listened to Imaginaerum, and I'm delighted by how much you have progressed! How it feels to listen to your vocals on Imaginaerum and on Dark Passion Play and compare them? And, on Scaretale, how were you able to pull such a rough and scary voice?

Hi and thanks;=) I love both albums and my voice has always been there but the albums and songs are really different, so in Imaginaerum I could use more of my voice and use different ways to sing. In DPP there wasn't so much I could do and the songs were not made specifically for me.
Scaretale was fun to do and all I did was to use my more nasal and *"witchy" voice and add a lot of drama in to it. Fun'!

If you were told to do something completely out of your comfort zone, what would you do?
Hi Oh, I prefer to not do things I do not like or enjoy, hehe! But well, since I do have a kind of "social phobia" and do not like big crowds and talking to strangers, I guess holding a big speech in front of a lot of people would be getting out of my comfort zone;=) And since I am so afraid of heights, buggy jump would be another thing.

I'm very sorry that I'm going to budapest hungary just to see nightwish because our stupid people like another kind of music "manele and dance".anyway how is the weather in finland on september?I want to come in a vacantion and visit your country.thank you.
Hi! Weather here in Sweden and Finland in september is normally quite nice. Around 12-15 degrees or a bit lower and beautiful sceneries when the leaves in the trees change colours from green to orange/red/yellow.

I read a few years ago your interview about the bad greek show, and that no band should play in Greece. Can you please explain what was the reason for saying this? I really can understand that there was a bad organization by the promoter, but the fans really love you.

Hi! This interview where I said this was unfortunately said in a "fun mode" and unfortunately the reporter didn't understand that. So, of course bands should play in Greece;=) I love Greece and have been there many times, last in may this year.

Hi Anette! my names anna. i read you were a runner or enjoyed running. i love running too! i was wondering what type of running you do such as sprinting or long distance and did you ever play on a team sport. what is your fastest time and have you ever considered runing professionally. i run cross country for my high school about 3.1 miles or 5k and if you run distance could you give me some pointers for breathing cause i have trouble with my side i think it's a stitch and i was thinking it was my breathing.
Hi! Great to meet a fellow *"runner";=) Well, I run mainly 5-10 k´s and now and then longer ones. I have never done a marathon but hope to do so in the future;=) The breathing issue is something I know since I have asthma and need to medicate before I run, but I try to just make the breathing flow with my steps. I try to see to that my shoulders and arms aren't to high up and try to maintain a straight back so breathing comes easier since the lungs are open. And if I loose my breath totally in a hill I walk for some steps and then get back on it. Have a great run!

I have a problem with my voice. I don't sing professionally but I use my voice because I study a lot. Normally my voice is shrill but from autumn 2011 I had almost eight hoarsenesses (for stress, cough, cold and other things). And because of it I'm not good to sing. What can I do?

Hi! Oh, poor you;=( It´s never a good thing to suffer with these things for a longer perod and I wonder if you take some extra vitamins? If not, I think you should. Zink is good to prevent colds.
I also get these things easy and the only thing I do is that I use a salt water spray every day to get the mucus out from the nose and clear it up. Then when it comes to singing, just do very soft and easy warm ups with lots of mmmm-exercises, hmmm-exercises, up and down the scale but not to to high up and do not strain at any time. If your nose is stuffed its hard to sing properly so first try and get it open with the saltwater or go see the doctor and check if you have some allergies that causes your problems. Very hard to give advice but I hope you got some idea;=) Good luck!

1. How did you like slovak fans?
2. I think you have not spent a lot of time here but have you learned any slovak words?:)
